Ingredients
- 2 cups Watermelon (chopped)
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 5 mint leaves
- 3 tablespoon Sugar
- 1/2 cup water.
Instructions
- Peel the skin of the watermelon and dice into cubes.
- Add sugar and water to the saucepan and heat up just to melt.
- To a blender, add watermelon pieces, mint leaves. Lemon juice, sugar water mixture.
- Puree for a few seconds. ( you can also strain them in mesh colander)
- Pour watermelon juice to a freezer safer container. Freeze them for 2 hours.
- Remove and scrape the frozen sides using a fork and place it back in the freezer. Repeat this process for 2 or 3 times to scrape every 2 hours until the mixer is completely frozen.
- Watermelon granita is ready to be served.
