Stuffed Aloo Tikki- how to make Aloo tikki

Ingredients

  • FOR TIKKI:
  • Potatoes- 3
  • pepper powder- 1/2 tsp
  • curryleaves or coriander leaves- little just crushed
  • Chillies- 1 finely chopped
  • salt- to taste
  • All purpose flour/maida- 1 tbs for dusting
  • FOR STUFFING:
  • Raisins- 3 tbs finely chopped.
  • Ginger- 1 tsp grated
  • Chilli powder- 1/2 tsp
  • pepper powder- 1/2 tsp
  • jeera powder- 1/2 tsp
  • amchur powder- a pinch
  • salt- to taste
  • salt-

Instructions

  1. Boil and mash the potatoes.
  2. Mix pepper powder, chillies,curry leaves and salt.
  3. For stuffing:
  4. Finely chop the raisins and add all the ingredients given for stuffing.
  5. Make a small aloo tikki and stuff the raisins mixture.
  6. Roll on the flour for dusting and shallow fry the tikki, until it turns golden brown.
