    This marinade has coconut, fennel seeds, peppercorns, onion, tomato, garlic, and spice powders.

How to make Pomfret Masala Fry:

Firstly, clean and wash pomfret fish and make three slits.

Add all the ingredients to a blender and add just a sprinkle of water.

Grind to a very fine paste

Simply apply the ground masala all over the fish and also into the slit skin. Refrigerate and marinate for 30 mins.

Over medium heat, place Tawa, add coconut oil. Place the marinated fish and cook for 4 to 5 mins.

Ingredients

1 pomfret fish
2 tsp coconut oil
1/4 cup coconut
1tsp peppercorns
2tsp fennel seeds
1tbs chili powder
1tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tomato
4 garlic cloves
1/2 onion
1tsp salt


Instructions

  1. Firstly, clean and wash pomfret fish and make three slits.
  2. Add all the ingredients to a blender and add just a sprinkle of water.
  3. Grind to a very fine paste
  4. Simply apply the ground masala all over the fish and also into the slit skin. Refrigerate and marinate for 30 mins.
