Ingredients to make pear bread pudding with caramel sauce placed in cristel bowl & white bowl

Here is the ingredients to make caramelized pear bread pudding

cubed breads and diced pears are taken in a glass baking tray
Mix the bread cube and pears in a deep dish baking pan
In a deep medium sized mixing bowl, milk is taken
For sauce: Take some milk in a mixing bowl
Brown sugar is being added to the milk in deep red bowl
Add sugar
An Egg is being added to the milk sugar mixture taken in a mixing bowl
Add egg
Cinnamon powder is added to the milk sugar mixture
Add 1 tsp of cinnamon powder
whisking the milk sugar mixture in a balloon whisk to combine well
combine the mixture

 

 

The milk mixture is being added to the bread cubes and pears in the baking tray. Allowing the bread to absorb the milk.
Pour the mixture over the bread and allow it to soak up to 5 mins. Bake in preheated oven 350* F / 180 degree C for 25 mins.                                                                                                                             How to make caramel sauce: (Make caramel sauce before you serve, Grab all the ingredients and keep it ready,once the pear bread pudding is baked  and you can make the caramel sauce in jiffy because making caramel sauce ahead of time might turn harderlaughing )

In a saucepan , add some sugar
Sugar is heated up, it has turned down to amber colour
meltdown the sugar until the has the amber color
Fresh cream is added to the melted sugar and mixed quickly to get a caramel sauce
Quickly add cream and keep in stirring until smooth and creamy.
Golden coloured caramel sauce is ready. Fresh in the stove.

Description

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups Bread (cubed)
  • 1 pears (peeled and diced)
  • 1 Eggs
  • 2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Caramel Sauce

  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1/4 cup cream
  • salt (a pinch)

Instructions

  1. For bread pudding: Mix the bread cube and pear in deep baking dish.
  2. For the sauce: Combine milk, sugar, salt, cinnamon powder, eggs in a mixing bowl, pour the mixture over the bread and allow it to soak upto 5 mins.
  3. Bake in a pre-heated oven 350 degree F or 180 degree Cfor 30 mins.

For the caramel sauce

  1. Melt the sugar in the sauce pan until it has the amber colour.
  2. Add the cream,salt and keep on heat until melted&smooth.
  3. Allow to cool down and drizzle the caramel over the pudding.

Notes

HOW DO YOU KNOW PEAR BREAD PUDDING IS DONE?

The consistency of the finished bread pudding is slightly mushy and semi-solid. To check for the doneness, insert the toothpick in the centre and it should come out clean.

HOW LONG THE LEFTOVER BREAD PUDDING STAYS IN FRIDGE?

If storing in the fridge, cover tightly with plastic wrap to prevent from drying out.
Leftover pear bread pudding stays well in the fridge for 2 to 3 days, but it will start loosening the moisture after 2 days.

HOW DO YOU REHEAT THE BREAD PUDDING?

You can reheat the pudding in the microwave for a minute (or )
Pre-heat your oven 350 degrees F/ 180 degrees C, cover the baking tray with foil and bake for 5 to 10 mins.

HOW TO PREVENT MY CARAMEL SAUCE STICKING TO PAN?

Firstly turn off your stove, quickly add 2 tbs of warm water and stir well to thin out.
