Pazham Pori Recipe | Banana Fritters | Ethakka Appam, Hai..!!! 🙂 🙂 A big helloooo to all..!! Here in manila.. its Raining.. like cats and dog!! Yesterday i was craving for something sweet..and i was really lazy to cook and i want to make something quick!!! when i opened the fridge i just remember i don’t have anything at home to make because our groceries are not yet done for this week!! so in a sad face.. 🙁 i noticed two BANANAS!!!! 🙂 🙂 :)!! yes.. when there is nothing at home, a simple banana brings smile on your face..!!! so i decided to make Pazham pori!!! This is the famous recipe of Kerala, There are so so many plantain recipes in kerala cuisine.. among them this is the quick and easy tea time snack recipe!!! This is also called as Ethakkappam in kerala! i loved the crispy fritters, and the banana is little cooked inside.. when you bite it!! they just melt in your mouth 🙂 🙂 Do try this recipe.. and I’m sure you will love it..

Ingredients
- Banana- 2
- Maida/All purpose flour- 1/4 cup
- Rice flour- 1 tbs
- Cardamom powder- 1 tsp
- turmeric powder- 1 tsp
- Sugar- 3 tbs
- baking powder- 1tsp
- Oil- for deep frying
Instructions
- Heat up the oil for deep frying.
- In a bowl add maida, rice flour ,cardamom powder, turmeric powder,sugar, baking powder and mix it up with water and make into a batter consistency.
- Dip the banana and deep fry them until it turns golden brown.
