Kadai Paneer Recipe | How to make Kadai Paneer, Hello 🙂 🙂 Today’s recipe is Kadai paneer!!! whenever we go out for dinner with friends, i have noticed my friends who are vegetarians their sure-shot order is panner in starter…..!!! Paneer in maincourse..!!! Paneer in Dessert! 🙂 :)) Tell me one thing.. who doesn’t like panner? i like paneer in any forms, Paneer is the Versatile ingredient Right!!! though i order something in chicken or mutton, i had always tasted from their plate!! yes!! its yum yum!!! This time when i got paneer i made Paneer Butter masala! which is sooper Dooper hit! Hubby dear loved it very much, This morning,when i took paneer from fridge he asked me to make paneer butter masala, but i had a menu plan to post a recipe kadai paneer- a semi dry version, Usually kadai paneer would be Gravy but i wanted to be a semi – dry, so if u want a recipe kadai paneer gravy please let me know, i would love to try and post the recipe… 🙂 :), About this recipe, This is the typical northindian style dish, remember whenever ur making a northindian gravy or dry or semi dry.. just add 1 spoon sugar to the dish,, that will surely take ur recipe to another level!! Kadai Paneer Recipe- How to make Kadai Paneer
- Prep Time: 10 minutes
- Cook Time: 15 minutes
- Total Time: 25 minutes
Ingredients
- Paneer- 1 cup
- onion- 2
- capsicum- 1 cup
- oil- 3 tbs
- jeera- 1 tsp
- chilli powder- 1.5 tbs
- Coriander powder- 1 tbs
- Gram masala- 1.5 tsp
- turmeric powder- 1 tsp
- sugar- 1/2 tsp
- TO GRIND:
- Tomato- 4
- ginger – 1 tsp
- chillies- 2
Instructions
- Dice the onion and capsicum into cubes and saute them in oil for 2mins, keep aside
- Cut the paneer into cubes and saute them in oil and keep them in warm water.
- Grind the tomato, ginger and chillies.
- Heat up the oil in wok, add in jeera, tomato puree saute them for 5 mins, add water cover it with lid, let it boil for sometime..
- when the oil oozes out, add in sautéed onion, tomato and paneer mix them gently, sprinkle some water and cook for 3 to 5 mins.

Now the kadai paneer recipe is ready!!! Serve Hot with Roti, naan, paratha or rice.
