Description

This Easy Marinara sauce recipe from the fresh tomatoes makes it rich, ultimately delicious , naturally bright red in colour, totally customizable. This simple sauce is so versatile and its incredibly simple to make! 


Ingredients

  • 6 Tomatoes
  • 3 tbs olive oil
  • 3 Tbs garlic
  • 1 tbs chilli flakes
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 3 Fresh Basil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Coarsely grind tomatoes, finely chop the garlics.
  2. Heat up olive oil in sauce pan, add chopped garlic, coarsely grind tomatoes, salt and and cook for 3 to 5 mins.
  3. Add all the seasonings and herbs chili flakes, oregano, dried basil and Italian seasoning. Mix and stir well.
  4. Add 1 cup of water and cover and cook for 10 to 15 mins, Until you get the desired consistency.
  5. Easy Marinara sauce is ready!

Notes

How long homemade marinara sauce good for?

Once the sauce is made, can be refrigerated in a sealed container for 4 to 5 days.

How long can you freeze marinara sauce?

Bring the sauce to room temperature.

Pour into a freezer friendly ziplock bags or airtight container
