Ingredients to make french toast are take in glass bowls and plate
Gather all the ingredients to make french toast
Egg is added to a baking tray
Add egg
whisking the egg in the glass tray using balloon whisk
whisk for 1 or 2 mins
Sugar is added to egg in a glass tray, whisked using ballon whisk
Add in sugar
Egg mik mixture in a glass tray is being whisked using balloon whisk
whisk till the sugar melts completely
vanilla extract is added to egg-milk mixture in glass tray
Add in a dash of vanilla extract
a cup of milk is being poured to a glass tray with balloon whisk
Add some milk
bread is being soaked in egg-milk mixture
Soak the bread in egg milk mixture for 2 secs

Flip and soak the other sides of bread
Butter is heated up in saute pan
Heat up butter on the saute pan
Classic French toast is toasted to a golden colour
Cook until its crispy on both the sides

Classic French Toast is drizzled with maple syrup served in a small serving plate with fork, strawberries and maple syrup aside.

Classic French Toast


Ingredients

  • 3 Whole wheat Bread
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/4 cup-Milk
  • 1 tbs Butter
  • 1 tsp Vanilla essence
  • 1/2 cup Sugar

Instructions

  1. In a glass baking tray, (I have taken baking tray, so its easy to dip the bread in custard mixture, you can take some wide bowl as well) break egg and whisk throughly using balloon whisk.
  2. Add sugar and whisk until the sugar melts down completely.
  3. Add vanilla extract
  4. Pour egg and whisk until the mixture combined well.
  5. Now soak up the bread for 1 minute on both the sides.
  6. Meanwhile heat up skillet , add butter, gently take your bread and cook on the both the sides until its golden crispy.
