This chicken 65 recipe is a simple, easy and quick method. I love fried chicken, especially chicken 65 is my savor because of the minimal ingredients. This is my all-time go-to recipe if I want to make something tastier in less time.
The Chicken 65 recipe is marinated in ginger garlic paste, chili powder, turmeric powder, and curd. There is no store-bought masala used for this recipe. I simply serve with curd rice.
The most delicious part of making chicken 65 restaurant style is the seasoning.
The chopped Ginger garlic and curry leaves are tantalizing in coconut oil makes it outstandingly obsessing!

How to make Chicken 65 with step by step:

Wash your chicken pieces thoroughly, add ginger garlic paste.

Add chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt
yoghurt and spices are being added to chicken in bowl
Add curd/yogurt

Squeeze some lemon juice, mix well.

Let the chicken marinate for 30 mins/overnight.

Heat oil for deep frying, drop the chicken pieces 4 to 5 at a time.

Fry to a nice golden color. Similarly, fry all the chicken in batches. collect them in the plate.

For seasoning: Heat coconut oil in a wide pan, add chopped ginger, garlic, curry leaves.

Stir fry for 2 mins.

1. Chicken: Chicken with bone or boneless works well.

2. Marination: Marination is the key. The longer you marinade it taste better.

3. Freshly ground ginger garlic paste: Add freshly ground ginger garlic paste rather than the store-bought, it enhances the flavor.

4. Spices: You can add pepper powder as well.

5. Vegetable oil: I used vegetable oil to deep fry the chicken. Cook on the low-medium flame so that chicken is cooked inside. 

6. Coconut oil: fry the chopped ginger and garlic in coconut oil for the more flavors

Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg chicken
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tbs chili powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbs yogurt
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 cup oil
  • For seasoning:
  • 2 tsp coconut oil
  • 1 tbs garlic
  • 1 tbs ginger
  • 1 curry leaves sprigs

Instructions

  1. Wash your chicken pieces thoroughly, add ginger garlic paste.
  2. Add chili powder, turmeric powder, salt, curd/yogurt, Squeeze some lemon juice, mix well.
  3. Let the chicken marinate for 30 mins/overnight.
  4. Heat oil for deep frying, drop the chicken pieces 4 to 5 at a time.
  5. Fry to a nice golden color. Similarly, fry all the chicken in batches. collect them in a plate.
  6. For seasoning: Heat coconut oil in a wide pan, add chopped ginger, garlic, curry leaves.
  7. Stir fry for 2 mins.
  8. Toss the fried chicken with ginger and garlic.
