1. I have made about three large calzones for the dough I have taken, you may also create 6 to 7 mini calzones, depends on how you serve.
2. I brushed olive oil on top, you may also egg whitewash to get a nice golden color.
3. Always cook the veggies or any meats before you stuff into the calzone.
Variations:
Cheese: You can use mozzarella cheese or any type of cheese for the stuffing.
Vegetables: You may use soya chunks, cauliflower, broccoli basically any vegetables that you like. Cook them before you add to the dough.
Meats: You may use meatball, chicken, salami, sausages. Cook with the spices before you add to the dough.

How do you serve calzone?
Calzone can be served with marinara sauce/ any tomato sauce.
Can I freeze calzone?
Freeze the unbaked calzone in a single layer on the baking tray and transfer to a zip lock bag and freeze up to 3 months.

Ingredients
1cup spinach
1cup mushroom
2 tsp olive oil
2 tsp garlic
1/2 cup onion
1tsp chili flakes
1tsp pepper powder
1tsp mixed herbs
1tsp salt
2 balls pizza dough
Instructions
Prep work:
1.Make pizza dough
2.wash and chop spinach, mushroom, and garlic, keep the ingredients ready.
3.Preheat your oven 200 degrees C/400 Degree F for 10 mins before baking.
To cook mushroom and spinach stuffing:
4.Heat olive oil, add chopped garlic and let it sizzle for a minute.
5.Then, add chopped onion, cook for 2 mins till the onions turn translucent.
6.Add in sliced mushroom, saute and cook for 2 to 3 mins, till the mushrooms are cooked.
7.Add in chili flakes, pepper powder, and salt.
8.Next, In goes chopped spinach leaves.
9.Turn off the heat, the heat from the pan is enough to cook the spinach. It takes around 1 or 2 mins to cook the spinach leaves.
To make calzone:
10.Roll the pizza dough to a thin circle
11.Spoon some mushroom and spinach filling to one corner.
12.Gently fold the dough and seal the corners using a fork.
13.Dust some flour onto the baking tray and place the calzone.
make 3 slits on top of the calzone. Brush some olive oil. Now it is ready to pop into the oven.
14.Bake for 200 degrees C/ 400 degrees F for 15 to 20 mins, brushing halfway through/
