Over a saucepan, heat up the butter

Add chopped garlic, stir fry for a minute.

Then, add carrots

Add spices like pepper powder, chilli flakes/cayenne pepper and oregano. Stir fry for just a few seconds.

Ingredients

Scale

1.5 cups Broccoli (500 grams)

1/2 cup carrot ( diced / grated)

1/2 cup onion ( chopped)

1 cup cheddar cheese ( grated)

1 cup milk

1/2 cup – fresh cream/half and Half

1 tablespoon butter

1 tablespoon garlic

1 teaspoon pepper powder

1 teaspoon chilli flakes

1 teaspoon oregano

1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon vegetable stock powder

1.5 cups of water


Instructions

To a saucepan, heat up butter, add garlic and stir fry for few seconds. Add chopped onion, saute and cook for a minute, till the onions turn translucent. Then add carrot, pepper powder, chilli flakes and oregano. Stir fry for 2 minutes.

Add flour and water. Stirring continuously not to form lumps.

Add vegetable stock powder mix well.

Add broccoli and Cook for 3 to 5 minutes.

Pour in milk, cream, cover and cook for 2 mins.

Finally, add cheese. Stir well.

Check for the seasonings and serve.
